On November 29th in the NGC Library, we got to listen to a neurologist answer all of the other HOSA members' questions about her field as well as just medical-related questions in general. We learned about the importance of sleep and how to reduce tiredness if you didn't know how to already. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Break! We only have two more full weeks of school until finals week and then our Winter Break! Remember to join our Google Classroom to get more information about the club and various events.

This meeting, we got to have the privilege of hearing stories about various patients that Dr.Blaydon, an ocular plastic surgeon, has had over the years. He talked to the HOSA members about the road he took to become a surgeon as well as what he did serving in the Iraq war. It is our last meeting before the one-week long Thanksgiving Break! Remember to join our Google Classroom if you haven't already.
On November 1st, HOSA had its moulage meeting where we all painting bruises, burns, bullet wounds etc. on each other. It was a different take than what we normally do on meetings, but was super fun nevertheless. Our fundraiser of water bottles and bracelets was also collected and we got more information out about competitions coming up. Remember to join our google classroom for updates if you haven't already!
